Basic Expectations

We expect all of our students to wear our uniform correctly and with pride at all times whilst in the academy, as well as when travelling to and from the academy. The correct uniform can be seen on the left, with a breakdown of our expectations below.

Additional Information

  • If you are in Years 7-10, the blazer is compulsory. If you are in Year 11, you can opt to wear a jumper instead of the blazer, but as above, this must be worn at all times.
  • You must have a proper outdoor coat; hoodies are not acceptable.
  • Jewellery should be discreet. You must not wear hooped or dangly earrings.
  • Any unacceptable or inappropriate jewellery will be confiscated.
  • The academy neckscarf, cardigan with logo and knee-length skirts may also be worn with the academy uniform.
  • All religious headwear must be plain black only.

PE Kit

Students must wear the academy PE kit correctly for all PE lessons. The PE kit is classed as equipment and sanctions will be issued in line with the Positive Discipline system should students not have the full kit. If a student is excused from PE for any reason, they must still have their PE kit with them.

Years 7 & 8 PE Kit *

Years 9, 10 & 11 PE Kit

When lessons are taking place outdoors, students are permitted to wear the blue academy hoodie and plain black tracksuit bottoms.

* Students in Years 9, 10 & 11 can also wear the new PE kit should they prefer to.
