Behaviour Policy

Swallow Hill has a firm commitment to "making our best better." Our policies and practice promote an environment conducive to learning, ensuring all young people, irrespective of their differing needs get the best education they can. Since January 2016, the academy has, with support from the Rodillian Multi-Academy Trust, implemented and operated the Positive Discipline system - a behaviour policy with very simple and concise rewards and sanctions that encourage positive behaviour and attitudes to learning.

This system works on the principle that students follow a set of basic rules and know not just the sanctions for negative behaviour, but fundamentally, the rewards for positive behaviours.
